logic puzzles (teaching)
Oct. 17th, 2008 09:51 pmthe last 2 or 3 weeks i've had my students working on logic puzzles. you know, the grid kind with clues.
i started them with really easy, if you read all the clues it's answered, puzzles.
today was clearly the hardest i've given them. and they actually worked on it and one solved it (another came really close). i'm just teacherly happy because i *watched* my students working on a logic puzzle. THINKING! i could almost SEE the thought... and then a couple were working together and explaining and debating how they got the answers they did.
YAYYAYYYYAYAYAYAAYYYY!
