Thanksgiving

i want to thank cassidyrose and ptor and their son S. for a lovely thanksgiving. the company was great. the food was fantastic! and it was wonderful to have a place to be for the holiday. so THANK YOU!

i'm still amused that S. warmed up to me so quickly cuz he, apparently, has me confused with his aunt rhiannon (not sure if i spelled that correctly).

and the gay wedding guinea pig book is cool!

We were delighted to have you two over. Sorry that dinner took a while to get together, but thanks for your company, for bringing those yummy mushrooms, and for visiting with our little guy.

He might have confused you with Rhiannon, but he warmed up to you because you are nice, I hope you know!

It was very sweet to watch Ian read that train story book to him. And find all the odd things about the book and point them out to S. :)

The gay wedding guinea pig book was weird. It was simultaneously progressive (gay animals marrying!) and conservative (so that they could move in together!).

Thank YOU both for coming and celebrating with us. It was so nice to have people to celebrate with, and people we like to boot! Thanks for the lovely flowers (S. is still enamored of the cat tail) and the yummy pie and mushrooms. It really was all so nice and we had a great time. We really must all do dinner again, even for something less festive.

Oh, and that is indeed how you spell her name--just like the Fleetwood Mac song (yes, she was named after it). I too am amused S. kept calling you Rhiannon. Funny guy. BTW, he has learned more owl names since you left. :)
