My fingers think they have words in them, dripping out from the tips... But they're stuck at ideas...
Oh look, LJ Idol is around the corner of the weekend, that is a good thing, methinks.
and self, oh dear self, you MUST COMMIT TO WRITE 5 DAYS A WEEK! Seven would be better, but things happen.
If you don't write, things don't get written and your fingers and brain just back up with drek.
Get the drek out, turn on that garden hose.

Date: 2014-03-02 12:27 am (UTC)Basically, just write and then people vote people in/out. Seasons, apparently, have things that are in-vogue that season and things that are NOT. The first mini-season I did it was told that poetry was the kiss of death... But I did poetry almost weekly and made it to the top ten... Sometimes fiction is in sometimes non-fiction.... Just write.
I used it as external motivation to write and edit and get it out there, ya know. So I like it. I've only done the two mini-seasons, so I don't really know how a "real" season differs... We shall see.

DO IT. The rules are there are no rules. (Well, technically there are, but when it comes to the actual writing, there aren't.) You can write fiction, but a lot of people also write non-fiction, mini vignettes of their lives, or how-to guides,
You can do WHATEVER YOU WANT. In fact, it's probably best to not over think it TOO much and just write. (Which is much easier said than done.) But yes, this is the last season, if you've ever thought about doing it before you should GO FOR IT. :)
