when i woke up miss_pillar had her cone off. i stapled it back together on her. before i left for work sir_hedral came face to face with pillar and then cuffed her and hissed. he did this twice.

i put out an extra food, water and litter settings and separated them when i went to work. left him in the back half the apartment (bedrooms and bathroom) and her in the kitchen and living room. i bought two new cone collars on my way to work.

it seems to me that he is scared of the cone collar. he was on the arm of the couch next to me, she was on my lap. he stared at her a lot, but only hissed when she laid back and looked at him.

when she is asleep or lying still he, fairly often will go up close and smell or stare at the wound. poor guy is so confused. i don't think she told *him* what happened either!

i took the collar off for a bit and let her clean all but the wound. she really seems to LIKE cleaning herself.

i have to finish packing and i have to leave for TWO WEEKS tomorrow. i'm going to miss them even more now. but the wedding will be great and i'm ecstatic to see dea and the kitties are in good hands

i have a soft elizabethan collar here.... it is a soft material and is much more comfortable for the cat. want it?

thanks, but they had one on her at the vet and she found a way around it then took it off!

she hates it, but it's only another week.
