State of the Pillar (part 2)
Oct. 21st, 2008 09:43 pmThe vet was unable to pin the leg properly and they had to amputate it. the amputation went well and cleanly. i saw her at the vet about 2 hours after surgery (maybe less). she was *purring* and trying to cuddle and jump out of the cage. i ended up leaving so i could shut the door and not have to stop her from trying to escape the whole time, she needed rest.
i would have gladly stayed and pet her longer. i'm still in shock that she came home two nights ago.
i will, barring unexpected badness, bring her home tomorrow and get instructions on how to care for her.
also curious how hedral is going to handle her coming home, again, and her three leggedness.
