eeyore_grrlFor my final in Teaching Math to Young'uns class we are having a Math Fair. We have to prepare 2 lesson/projects to teach kids (one for grade K-3 and the other grade 4-8) along the same California Math Standards strand. We have to be prepared to show one of the lessons to the class (the other we just hand in).
So this morning I was merrily writing up a ledger and the math questions and making fake checks for the project (teaching adding and subtracting with negative numbers via a fake bank account that gets overdrawn a lot).ianhickson offers to help and make them as HTML pages. So now I have websites that can make checks for my "bank" that I can use for this project and with my students.
