ok people, seriously, how did i not know until pretty recently of the idea of Narwhals. And how did I not know until VERY recently that they are real!?!????! reddit.com should not teach me these things! (though i first recall hearing about them in a Futurama episode.)

is the universe next going to tell me that unicorns, santa claus, the easter bunny and a free lunch are real too?

(though, when i was younger i *swear* i saw the easter bunny and the tooth fairy hanging out one day!)

Free lunches are available at Google, but for how long?

As for Unicorns? I summon the Obamacorn!

And then you trigger internal flamewars about whether or not people are bringing in too many guests and eating all our food and why are the minikitchens not as good as they used to be and wahwahwah.

narwals, manatees and mola molas are the ocean creatures that have facinated me the most. narwals and manatees i learned of as a child...mola molas came later....

friends of mine had a manatee wedding cake topper (http://flickr.com/photos/marioandnikki/2900379209/in/photostream/) it was cute!

the ocean sunfish/ mola mola i saw at the monterey bay aquarium, not a pretty fish, always make me think it lost a fight or a bet.

I imagine you can still see them at the Folsom Street Fair.

And I take it you finally saw this? That made me very happy one slow afternoon.
