I really liked this. I loved your performance of it; I can really feel your heart in it there. This is one that, like most poetry, really benefits from repeated readings. Each time I went through it, I found something I had missed before.
I know all too well that feeling of searching for that fire inside, to thaw out those walls that you've spent so much time building up, thinking you're creating comfort but really just creating isolation. And when they're so strong, those walls can't be melted by anything from the outside; they need that fire inside first. I hope you find that fire.
