Emergency Kits

So back in March my car was broken into and among the things taken were our Earthquake Preparedness Kit and my car emergency kit (jumpers, flashlight, etc).

We need to replace these things and get more emergency stuff for the apartment.

There are a billion places to look -- anyone have a specific site/store/etc that has fairly complete kits to recommend?

The Red Cross sells care earthquake kits online.

I have an extra car emergency kit here at the house that is completely equipped. It's new. You want it? It contains a bunch of thing for "car" emergencies (flares, hazard triangle, flat tire reinflation stuff, duct tape) It's *not* a kit that contains food or much water though, so it's not a good quake kit (you could add the stuff you wanted though)

I figured I would get the car stuff and first aid/emergency stuff separately anyway. Cool thanks.

That really sucks. I hope the breaker-in needed it.

My own emergency-preparedness stuff is pretty ad-hoc, so I can't really help. Look on Craigslist for Burners who have decided last year was their last Burn and they're getting rid of their stuff?
