Nice use of word play and language here. I like it!
I stand firmly resolved on the side of the penny, but I have this crazy idea that we should drop a digit from our entire money system. To whit, I believe that we should recognize inflation has happened by making everything a little more and a little less value. Like we should agree that instead of Frosted Flakes costing $3.73, we drop that .03 totally and slide the other two numbers over so the cereal costs $.37. But this would impact our paychecks, too. Like instead of being paid $10 an hour, we'd be paid like $1 an hour. Everything would cost the same in relationship to everything else but all of our pennies and coins would be suddenly much, much more useful.

And $1 would be like having a $10.
