I would say it sort of but not quite rhymes. It's not the same sound, but close enough for most poetry.
(/me wanders off, humming about not wanting a pickle, but wanting to ride on a motorcicle.)

Yeah. I would not argue with Andres if he called it "slant rhyme", because it actually more-or-less rhymes.

Hoorah has the same sound as flower.
Frog has the same sound as coffee.
Flower and coffee do not have the same o sound in my pronunciation.
