fava beans

i have fava beans. i've never cooked/prepared food with them.. suggestions? (i'm a vegetarian that eats eggs and dairy.)

My favorite way to eat them is to baste them with olive oil and salt, then grill them in the pods. After they've started to char, pop out the beans, slip them out of the casings, and eat with a bit of salt.

Yum! I just bought some at the farmer's market this weekend, myself. :)
